A few of the many images I took of the confiding Red-necked Phalarope I came across on my early afternoon visit to the Jurys Gap Sandpit, East Sussex today. Also Wood Sandpiper, Ruffs, Common Sandpipers and a juvenile Black Tern.

The Images below were taken yesterday, the Terns were still present today plus a nice suite of waders. At the ARC nothing much has changed, Garganeys still present and good suite of waders present

    Nice find Martin! Looks a stunning bird. Heading down for a few days, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, so I am hoping to get a few new things!

    98 species today! Best thing was an Osprey which flew over ARC and then back around to the peninsula

      Must have been around 2:40 pm. Also 5 black terns off of ARC. Also apparently a Wryneck was reported today with the red backed shrike. Do you know where abouts that was as I will go tomorrow instead of Thursday
