A very quiet day on the birding front on the peninsular today with nothing notable being reported by any of the locals. The best I could come up with was Greenshank over Boulderwall early morning. There was a report on Bird Guides saying that the Red-breasted Flycatcher was still present in The Moat and of a Bee-eater flying around the peninsular. 💁
A Concolorous Moth the first for my garden trap, a very scarce visitor to Dungeness
Cream-spotted Tiger quite common at Dungeness
A Puss Moth, the 5th I have trapped this year, it seems they have had a good season
White-point was once considered only a migrant but have become common on the peninsular in the last few years.
