The Hobby's around the hay fields have been very photogenic, mainly because they are cold and starving 





I spent an hour laying on the beach in the rain on Saturday photographing this flock of 44 Sanderling. They were quite tame all the time I lay fairly still gorging themselves on the abundant shellfish washed up by the storms.

    Can't the RSPB put out some sort of food for the Hobbys

      To be fair Ken I don't honestly think there is anything they can do as Hobby's main food is Dragonflys and small birds. If there was an easy fix I would quite happily pay for it and do it.
