Only a few dabblers present today.

This afternoon I visited Hempstead Forest with DW and GH, which was a spectacular success with superb views of the Two Barred Crossbill and great scope views of at least 7 Parrot Crossbills, also many Common Crossbills, a few Siskins a Redpoll and a Great Spotted Woodpecker.
