At The Patch this morning among the usual gulls were 2 juvenile Arctic Terns c50 Common Terns over the boil and on the beach. Off shore c100 Gannets.
A couple of hours in the trapping area was hard work for a Blackcap, a Common Whitethroat and 2 Willow Warblers one of which was posing while sun bathing.

Around the ARC Pit 5 Little Ringed Plovers, 4 Ringed Plovers, 4 Common Sandpipers, a Green Sandpiper, a Curlew Sandpiper (moulting adult), 2 Black-tailed Godwits, 2 Golden Plover, 2 Garganey, 2+ Marsh Harriers. Over the pit c200 Swifts and c500 Sand Martins. The Willow Trail held 2+ Willow Warblers with another 5 at the pines.

On the way home a little Owl was posing on the Walland chicken shed.
